It had been raining for several days at Karlshamn but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Elaina sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Per Nordström wanted a little to much in the start and Kranvagn galoped for 10 m.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Go Stargazing Hill followed by Elaina and Kranvagn. Lane two Pay The Price followed by Petite Fleur and Stay Together.




Go Stargazing Hill sat safely in the lead after 2000m.



Go Stargazing Hill looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Elaina never caught up with Go Stargazing Hill who won. Kranvagn came third.
