One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Hugh El Jewel Ameste took the lead after a very quick start.




This is the positions after 500m. Carlos Champion, Hugh El Jewel Ameste, Galileo, Wall Breaker, Thoreaus Law, Steel Knight, Floriane, Burn Out.




Carlos Champion clinged on to the lead after a 1000m. Steel Knight galoped after 1000m and lost 50 m.



Galileo showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping. With only a little left of the race Steel Knight galoped for 10 m. Carlos Champion clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.
