It had been raining for several days at Romme but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Public Enemy could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




This is the positions after 500m. King Star, Dreaming Body, Public Enemy, Paparazzi, Explosive Ride, Wings Of Steel, Frozen Devil, Just Moment.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




King Star was still in the lead after 1500m.



Just Moment was disturbed and galopped for 10 m. King Star looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Dreaming Body made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before King Star.
