It had been raining for several days at Årjäng but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Backstabbing Velvet was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. Tom Horpestad wanted a little to much in the start and Queen D galoped for 10 m.




This is the positions after 500m. Queen D, Backstabbing Velvet, Jolly Drama, Pointing Sunflower, Mad Summer, Tripping Meadow, Goofy Sunset, .




Queen D clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.




Pointing Sunflower accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.



Pointing Sunflower looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Queen D won the race after a spectacular finish.
