One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Sleeping Pony sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. When the startcar left the field Unknown started to galop and lost 20 m. Tommy Hanné wanted a little to much in the start and Steel Moon galoped for 10 m. Johan Untersteiner wanted a little to much in the start and Sleeping Pony galoped for 30 m. King Star suddenly started to galop. Björn Röcklinger had to struggle to get King Star to tror again and succeded after 30 m.

Front Tank was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead. A bird flew just in front of Unknown who started to galop and lost 30 m. A bird flew just in front of Joyride who started to galop and lost 50 m. House Of Love started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.

No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo. Joyride was disturbed and galoped 50 m.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Front Tank followed by Steel Moon and Relaxing Bullet. Lane two Where The Scatman followed by Focused Steel and Sleeping Pony.

With only a little left of the race King Star galoped for 10 m. Front Tank were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

Where The Scatman kept the speed the whole finish and won before Front Tank and Focused Steel.
