The weather had been good all week and Åby was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Go Go Escargot found a gap and took the lead. Kortney followed before Gebbink. The Loophole was to tense at the start and galloped for 10 m.




Stepping Closet quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Poincon Express sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.



Gebbink sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.






Gentle Voice never caught up with Gebbink who won. Kortney came third.
