One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Verso Perfezione was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. Agostoni was to tense at the start and galloped for 10 m.

Fröbelin Palikat saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.

Orléans Hof took the lead after 1000m. Just Star didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Verso Perfezione galoped after 1000m and lost 20 m.

Notable won. Verso Perfezione came in second. Tiny Sword caught third place.
