The sun was shining and the birds was singing on Åby today.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Dancing Sunset could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.




The leader got disturbed by something and Backstabbing Sunray took the lead rather easily. Dancing Sunset suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 50 m.




Backstabbing Sunray was still in the lead after 1500m.




Just Crusher seemed to be in top-form this day and took over the lead.



Just Crusher sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Cats Stevens never caught up with Just Crusher who won. Backstabbing Sunray came third.
