The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Lapua this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Nessla Deutsche Frau found a gap and took the lead. Thatcher followed before Silke.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Loretta sprinted to the front.




Wenig sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Wenig followed by Schweinefleisch and Loretta. Lane two Thatcher followed by Nessla Deutsche Frau and Silke.



Wenig kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Akseli Lahtinen tried a little too much on the homestretch and Wenig started to galopp and lost 30 m.




Thatcher sprinted over the finishline before Schweinefleisch and Nessla Deutsche Frau.
