Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Covered Call. Jolly Gossip ended up behind the leader. Nashorn got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. Bengt-Erik Olsson wanted a little to much in the start and Villjuvasomdej galoped for 30 m. First Class Hero was to tense at the start and galloped for 20 m.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and Nashorn sprinted to the front. Villjuvasomdej started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified. A bird flew just in front of Steel Bandwith who started to galop and lost 40 m.

Athletic Agent took the lead after 1000m. Covered Call didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.

Jolly Gossip took the lead after 1000m. Covered Call didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.

Jolly Gossip kept the speed the whole finish and won before Dufresne and Athletic Agent.
