One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Carlos Haddock. Red Stardust ended up behind the leader. Ryans Law got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. When the startcar left the field Red Stardust started to galop and lost 20 m.
Red Stardust saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.
Red Stardust was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead. Carlos Haddock was disturbed and galoped 30 m.
Red Stardust was still in the lead after 1500m. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Troubling Moon gallopped for 30 m.
Red Stardust kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.
