The weather had been good all week and Lycksele was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Hugh El Jewel Ameste. Johnny Globetrotter ended up behind the leader. Sliding Devil got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.

Journey To Paradise quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.

Narkissos Sunset sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead. Johnny Globetrotter was disturbed and galoped 40 m. Journey To Paradise galoped after 1000m and lost 30 m.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Narkissos Sunset followed by Independant Power and Loving Sergeant. Lane two Sliding Devil followed by Hugh El Jewel Ameste and Johnny Globetrotter.

Narkissos Sunset didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead.

Narkissos Sunset were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

Hugh El Jewel Ameste showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.

Independant Power won. Narkissos Sunset came in second. Sliding Devil caught third place.
