The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Skellefteå this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Windy Brightness sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead.




This is the positions after 500m. Pignotti, Parkas, Windy Brightness, Handy Paladin, Arcticfox, Thai Massage, Memphis Jug Band, . Memphis Jug Band started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Pignotti followed by Parkas and Thai Massage. Lane two Windy Brightness followed by Arcticfox and Handy Paladin.



Pignotti kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Windy Brightness sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
