The weather had been good all week and Mantorp was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Fantastic Pegasos tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Troubling Angel that came steaming ahead.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and Powerful Frenzy sprinted to the front. Célesse galloped for 60m and was disqualified.

Adorable Darkness looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Slow Frenzy couldn't come out from behind the leader, Powerful Frenzy.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Powerful Frenzy followed by Adorable Darkness and Moonlight Addiction. Lane two Slow Frenzy followed by Thinking Cube and Fantastic Pegasos.

Thinking Cube speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

Final standings. 1 Slow Frenzy, 2 Fantastic Pegasos, 3 Thinking Cube.
