It had been raining for several days at Klosterskogen but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Steel Rocket could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.

Super Ace quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.

Brinkman looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Rational Fist couldn't come out from behind the leader, Super Ace.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Super Ace followed by Sneaking Queen and Micheline. Lane two Steel Rocket followed by Rational Fist and Ziemlich Gut.

Super Ace were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

Noralf P Brækken tried a little too much on the homestretch and Sneaking Queen started to galopp and lost 10 m.

Final standings. 1 Training Pegasos, 2 Ziemlich Gut, 3 Merret.
