It had been raining for several days at Skellefteå but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape. One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. General Comet could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced. The leader got disturbed by something and Dominant Gentleman took the lead rather easily. General Comet was disturbed and galoped 40 m. Arras Montana accelerated after 1500m and took the lead. Morettini suddenly took over the lead. Arras Montana litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch. Arras Montana kept the speed the whole finish and won before Morettini and General Comet. Results
