The weather had been good all week and Solvalla was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Perfect Jive tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Gold Ice Ice Baby that came steaming ahead. When the startcar left the field Betula Litwinowii started to galop and lost 50 m.

The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced.

Betula Litwinowii sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.

Olympus Mons Cherry accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.

Olympus Mons Cherry sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Olympus Mons Cherry didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
