Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Malta Racing Club track was in top-condition.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were General Rock. Graziana ended up behind the leader. Punching Printer got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.

This is the positions after 500m. Close Gladiator, Gold Coca-cola, échappé, Starstruck Fiesta, Holy Wave, Parkas, Gold Delicious, Ryans Law.

Gold Coca-cola sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.

Nothing seemed to be able to stop Gold Coca-cola today. It continued in the lead. Holy Wave galloped for 30 m.

Ryans Law put some pressure on the leader and could take over.

Ryans Law sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

General Rock sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
