One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Silke found a gap and took the lead. Nessla Dig Bick followed before The Contender.




The Contender saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




The Contender clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.




The Contender was still in the lead after 1500m.



The Contender looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Winner of todays race was The Contender. Nessla Dig Bick came in second. Silke became third.
