One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Bessman found a gap and took the lead. Criminal Crusader followed before Wondering Ruby.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Nicolaas Opal sprinted to the front.




Nicolaas Opal was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.




Nicolaas Opal was still in the lead after 1500m.




Wondering Ruby took the lead.



Wondering Ruby looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Winner of todays race was Wondering Ruby. Strong Bullet came in second. Black Panther became third.
