Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Oviken track was in top-condition.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Metal Crüe found a gap and took the lead. Pompei followed before Grasping Love. Lars-Åke Svärdfeldt wanted a little to much in the start and Edgy Forest galoped for 40 m.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Pompei sprinted to the front.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.

Pompei won the race after a spectacular finish.
