One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Unieke Vuistvechter could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Johan Kringeland Eriksen wanted a little to much in the start and Rancho Cucamonga galoped for 40 m.

Steel Folder saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.

The leader got disturbed by something and Clou Francis took the lead rather easily. Dirt Face suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 30 m.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Clou Francis followed by Fantastic Pegasos and Slow Panther. Lane two Pinky Rebel followed by Unieke Vuistvechter and Steel Folder.

Clou Francis sat safely in the lead after 2000m.

Clou Francis looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Slow Panther made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Unieke Vuistvechter.
