The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Jägersro this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Pierpont could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




This is the positions after 500m. Dead Star, Tempting Starlight, Betula Luminifera, Pierpont, Climbing Momentum, Expensive Vixen, Close Action, . Close Action started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




Tempting Starlight sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Tempting Starlight today. It continued in the lead.



Climbing Momentum speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Climbing Momentum didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
