One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Confident Band was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.

The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced.

Whatever Dancer sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead. Stopping Sparrow galloped for 60m and was disqualified.

Confident Band accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.

Whatever Dancer speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

Skurken won. Confident Band came in second. Whatever Dancer caught third place.
