It had been raining for several days at Åby but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Mini Bella found a gap and took the lead. Rolling Sapphire followed before The Loophole.




Whispering Nova saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




The leader got disturbed by something and Rolling Sapphire took the lead rather easily.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Rolling Sapphire today. It continued in the lead.




Rolling Sapphire kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead. The Loophole gallopped 30 m after 2000m.



Fair Lilac was disturbed and galopped for 20 m. Rolling Sapphire looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.
