The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Mantorp this day.
One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were
Gold Thunder.
Polished
Knight ended up behind the leader.
White Dove got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. wanted a little to much in the start and Unknown galoped for 20 m. White Dove suddenly started to galop. Rickard Alderborg had to struggle to get White Dove to tror again and succeded after 20 m.
The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced.
Running
Twister looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that
Polished
Knight couldn't come out from behind the leader,
Gold Thunder.
Gold Thunder was still in the lead after 1500m.
Gold Thunder sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.
White Dove was disturbed and galopped for 50 m.
Gold Thunder didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
