The leader couldn't hold the lead and Clou Francis sprinted to the front.




Island Queen looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Speedy Zeus couldn't come out from behind the leader, Clou Francis.




Speedy Zeus saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead.




Speedy Zeus didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead. Pointing Jewel galloped for 60m and was disqualified.



Island Queen was first on the homestretch followed by Speedy Zeus and Fairbankgi.






Fairbankgi won the race after a spectacular finish.
