One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Little Grey Shoe sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Screaming Wave galloped for 60m and was disqualified.




Old Angel saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Old Angel was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.




Old Angel was still in the lead after 1500m. driver couldn't keep Votre Richesse to trotting so they were disqualified. Dragonslayer started to gallop after 1500m and Jens Laursen had to struggle to get it back in trotting.




Old Angel kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.



With only a little left of the race Climbing Rock galoped for 50 m. Old Angel kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Old Angel didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
