One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Blanc De Blanc tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Ramos The Man that came steaming ahead. Merret was to tense at the start and galloped for 10 m.

Ramos The Man was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead.

Ramos The Man was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Ramos The Man followed by Jumping Hollywood and Q Opal. Lane two Blanc De Blanc followed by Merret and Jolly Heat.

Ramos The Man sat safely in the lead after 2000m.

driver couldn't keep Cherise to trotting so they were disqualified. Ramos The Man kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Claes Eskilsson tried a little too much on the homestretch and Blanc De Blanc started to galopp and lost 40 m. Jumping Hollywood galopped for 20 m on the homestretch.

Ramos The Man kept the speed the whole finish and won before Tarantella Opal and Q Opal.
