The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Eskilstuna this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Right On Line tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Lucky Velvet that came steaming ahead. Glittering Sun suddenly started to galop. Claes Sjöström had to struggle to get Glittering Sun to tror again and succeded after 20 m.




This is the positions after 500m. Gorgeous Wind, Glittering Sun, Corretja, Heavenly Amazon, Polished Admiral, Lucky Velvet, Strong Boulder, Right On Line.




Heavenly Amazon looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Right On Line couldn't come out from behind the leader, Gorgeous Wind.




Right On Line saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead. Heavenly Amazon started to gallop after 1500m and Lars Erixon had to struggle to get it back in trotting.



Strong Boulder litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Winner of todays race was Strong Boulder. Polished Admiral came in second. Right On Line became third.
