It had been raining for several days at Kalmar but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape. One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Fabrizia found a gap and took the lead. Woltmans Law followed before Hia Hia. This is the positions after 500m. Monday Oxzygo, Hårt I Mål, Mioun Oxzygo, Célestia, Big Malkin, Hia Hia, Ojsan Avdragsgill, Crossing Flower. Célestia took the lead after 1000m. Big Malkin didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Big Malkin took the lead after 1000m. Woltmans Law didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Hia Hia galop. Hia Hia lost 50 m. Crossing Flower was disturbed and galopped for 30 m.
