Start List
The sun was shining and the birds was singing on Kalmar today. One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Loving Sergeant. Flaming Queen ended up behind the leader. Renault got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. When the startcar left the field Renault started to galop and lost 10 m. This is the positions after 500m. Ginger Sugar, In Shock, Meanwhile, Aberdeen Angus, Starstruck Lemonade, Loving Sergeant, Renault, Perfect Jive. The leader got disturbed by something and In Shock took the lead rather easily. In Shock was still in the lead after 1500m. Renault started to gallop after 1500m and Ove A Lindqvist had to struggle to get it back in trotting. Flaming Queen seemed to be in top-form this day and took over the lead. Renault suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead. No-one could catch Renault today who won before Perfect Jive and Flaming Queen. Results
