One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Speedy Zeus sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Perfect Jive was to tense at the start and galloped for 20 m. This is the positions after 500m. Meanwhile, Flaming Queen, Perfect Jive, Big Sam Magpie, Donlatts Cherry, Master Pegasos, Punching Boulder, Green Magpie. Donlatts Cherry looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Master Pegasos couldn't come out from behind the leader, Meanwhile. Olga Hof galoped after 1000m and lost 50 m. Standings after 1500m . Lane one Meanwhile followed by In Shock and Speedy Zeus. Lane two Donlatts Cherry followed by Big Sam Magpie and Master Pegasos. Meanwhile kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch. Perfect Jive sprinted over the finishline before Flaming Queen and Speedy Zeus. Results
