Start List
Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Visby track was in top-condition. One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Carmen Lavec found a gap and took the lead. Breaking Diamond followed before échappé. Close Gladiator quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. Thoreaus Law galloped for 60m and was disqualified. Milwaukee Superior took the lead after 1000m. Close Gladiator didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Right On Line suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 30 m. Light Cocktail looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m. Breaking Diamond was first on the homestretch followed by Power Movement and Light Cocktail. Milwaukee Superior sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy. Results
