One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Vaak Moeilijk took the lead after a very quick start.




This is the positions after 500m. Powerful Opal, Snowy Moment, Harriet Rori, Vaak Moeilijk, Jolyot, Nikita Opal, , .




Powerful Opal clinged on to the lead after a 1000m. Snowy Moment galoped after 1000m and lost 40 m.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Powerful Opal followed by Vaak Moeilijk and Harriet Rori. Lane two Jolyot followed by Nikita Opal and Snowy Moment.




Powerful Opal didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead.




Jolyot took the lead after a speedrush.



Jolyot kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Powerful Opal won. Jolyot came in second. Vaak Moeilijk caught third place.
