One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Pierpont sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.




Pierpont was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.




Mamma Mia Magpie saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead.




Pierpont put some pressure on the leader and could take over.



Pierpont looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Pierpont didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
