One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Black Power tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Pécheux that came steaming ahead.




Sly Hyena saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. A bird flew just in front of Lying Orchid who started to galop and lost 50 m.




Desolate Bridge sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.




Black Power looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.



Black Power were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.
