Only a humble breeze blew over Åby this day. The track where in perfect shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Fighting Work. Radiating Thinker ended up behind the leader. Frogo got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.




The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced.




Fighting Work clinged on to the lead after a 1000m. Sleepy Raspberry suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 50 m.




Fighting Work was still in the lead after 1500m.



With only a little left of the race Frogo galoped for 20 m. Fighting Work sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Philly Eagle won. Fighting Work came in second. Red Hot Chilipepper caught third place.
