It had been raining for several days at Solvalla but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Attack Again tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Aim Twice that came steaming ahead.

Attack Again saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. Platinum Missile started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.

Super Ace sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead. Arsenico Vox galoped after 1000m and lost 40 m.

Durand looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Tempting Daffodil gallopped for 10 m.

Durand kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead. driver couldn't keep Universal Law to trotting so they were disqualified.

Durand sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Durand didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
