One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Fantastico tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Carbon that came steaming ahead. driver couldn't keep Först över Linjen to trotting so they were disqualified.

Bol Blizzard saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.

Take Me To The City sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.

Take Me To The City was still in the lead after 1500m. Fantastico galloped for 30 m.

Heavenly Amazon seemed to be in top-form this day and took over the lead. Fantastico showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.

Heavenly Amazon were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

Först över Linjen galopped for 10 m on the homestretch.

Melbourne Superior sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
