One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Harriette could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Backstabbing Ring quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. Harriette galloped for 60m and was disqualified. Harriette looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Cathy couldn't come out from behind the leader, Backstabbing Ring. Harriette accelerated after 1500m and took the lead. Harriette kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead. Harriette looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch. Allez Alain never caught up with Backstabbing Ring who won. Cathy came third. Results
