The weather had been good all week and Åby was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Impatient Viper. Swinging Doll ended up behind the leader. Bescond Hamilton got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. Veijo Heiskanen wanted a little to much in the start and Swinging Doll galoped for 20 m.




Bescond Hamilton saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Dusty Cocktail looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Swinging Doll couldn't come out from behind the leader, Bescond Hamilton.




Dusty Cocktail saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead.



Swinging Doll litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Impatient Viper made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Dusty Cocktail.
