Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Åby track was in top-condition.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Solid Muscle tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Argenton that came steaming ahead. Argenton suddenly started to galop. Björn Goop had to struggle to get Argenton to tror again and succeded after 10 m.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo. Solid Muscle suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 50 m.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Argenton today. It continued in the lead.



With only a little left of the race Solid Muscle galoped for 30 m. Argenton sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Solid Muscle won the race after a spectacular finish.
