The sun was shining on Åby today. A perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Sans Xylene was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




Philimon saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. Striking Cocktail started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Le Mans Racer looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.




Le Mans Racer kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead. Striking Cocktail was disturbed and gallopped for 20 m.



Le Mans Racer kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Flemming Jensen tried a little too much on the homestretch and Striking Cocktail started to galopp and lost 10 m.




Le Mans Racer kept the speed the whole finish and won before Soda Popinski and Sans Xylene.
