The sun was shining on Axevalla today. A perfect day for trotting. One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Boccie Ball. Påarps Ann-sofie ended up behind the leader. Scarlet Box got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. Echec Et Mat saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo. Boccie Ball suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 40 m. Stopping Sparrow saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead. Echec Et Mat galloped for 60m and was disqualified. Stopping Sparrow kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead. Stopping Sparrow sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch. Linda Allercrantz tried a little too much on the homestretch and Boccie Ball started to galopp and lost 10 m. Påarps Ann-sofie won the race after a spectacular finish. Results
