The weather had been good all week and Jarlsberg was in good shape. One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Playing Nutcracker tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Jolyot that came steaming ahead. Ginger Winter saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. Thinking Cube sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead. driver couldn't keep Night Star to trotting so they were disqualified. Duralex sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead. Jolyot made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Playing Nutcracker. Results
