The weather had been good all week and Pihtipudas was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Sneaky Lion could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Sciocchetti was to eager when the car accellerated, galopped and was disqualified.

Criminal Ma Fleur quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.

Neon Wardrobe looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Homme Du Bordeaux couldn't come out from behind the leader, Criminal Ma Fleur. Nessla Hey Hey My My was disturbed and galoped 20 m.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Criminal Ma Fleur followed by Rienks and Homme Du Bordeaux. Lane two Neon Wardrobe followed by Glittering Sun and Soft Touch.

With only a little left of the race Sciocchetti galoped for 20 m. Neon Wardrobe litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

Rienks won. Homme Du Bordeaux came in second. Glittering Sun caught third place.
