One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Stjerne Målmand. King Of Gotland ended up behind the leader. Brave Striker got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. When the startcar left the field Stjerne Målmand started to galop and lost 50 m. Claes Sjöström wanted a little to much in the start and Radiating Breeze galoped for 50 m.

Alias quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.

Linchpin looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Brown Bomb couldn't come out from behind the leader, Alias.

Brown Bomb accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.

Alias suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.

Brave Striker won. Linchpin came in second. Nessla Erratic caught third place.
