One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Loving Sergeant was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Punching Printer sprinted to the front. A bird flew just in front of Running Wish who started to galop and lost 40 m.




The leader got disturbed by something and Loving Sergeant took the lead rather easily.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Loving Sergeant followed by Ticking Fabric and Running Wish. Lane two Wild Needle followed by Punching Printer and Rolling Dancer.




Loving Sergeant sat safely in the lead after 2000m.



Loving Sergeant kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Wild Needle won the race after a spectacular finish.
