The weather had been good all week and Solvalla was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Minttu was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark. A bird flew just in front of Sleeping Ruby who started to galop and lost 40 m.




Linguine sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.




Minttu accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.




Minttu didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead.



Minttu were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.






Linguine won the race after a spectacular finish.
